LET US HELP YOU TELL
But before we do, here's the short version of our story. Bastion Films began life in 2009 as The Stadium Pty Ltd, a Sydney-based boutique sports content and production company. The Stadium was acquired by Bastion Collective in late 2015 and was rebranded Bastion Stadium. Servicing predominantly Sydney based clients, Bastion then set about finding a similar Melbourne-based production company that could best service the needs of Bastion's growing Melbourne client base, and allow Bastion Stadium to offer truly national content solutions. In mid-2018, Bastion Stadium acquired award-winning Melbourne-based creative production agency Bengar Films. The two businesses are now integrated as one and service all Bastion's film and video production requirements.
WHAT SETS US APART
WHY WE ARE DIFFERENT
Our roots are firmly planted in film and broadcast production. We have decades of experience from across Australia and the world. We understand the commercial realities of content production. We know we need to be nimble, focussed and flexible in order to keep our clients and their work at the centre of everything we do.
Every story is different. Some are long, others are short. Some are complex and some are more simple. But they're all unique and all deserve to be told in their own way. We take great care and pride in helping to craft and deliver your story to ensure maximum impact with your audience.
OUR WAY OF DOING IT
We always start by asking why. Why is this content being created? What is its purpose? What outcome does it need to achieve. We then ask who. Who is the target audience? Where do we find them and how do we best talk to them. When they watch this video, what do we want them to feel? What do we want them to learn? What do we want them to do afterwards? Only once these questions are answered do we move on to the do.
HOW WE CREATE IMPACT
We have significant expertise in managing every stage of the production process. We love the detail, the logistics and making everything happen. From concept stage including treatments, boards and scripts through to locations, talent and crew to everything in post including edit, grade, graphics, sound, audio and all compliance and delivery. We're your one-stop shop from idea to delivery.
We've brought together a team of thinkers and doers from a broad range of backgrounds but each with an intimate understanding of why and how we do what we do. We love the work behind the work. We combine the creative flair and inspiration to dream big with the grunt and discipline to deliver on time and on budget. We take our work seriously but we don't take ourselves too seriously. Service with a smile.
